Social Services Mission Statement
We, the Anishinaabeg of the Mino-Qwe-Ke-Ga-Bwe’in Social Services Initiative, will work in partnership to implement a Program Model that is culturally appropriate, and continues to strengthen the wholistic well-being of the Anishinaabe Nation and its people, through active participation in activities of Employment Support, Community Participation and Employment Placement.
Further, we, the Anishinaabeg of the Mino-Qwe-Ke-Ga-Bwe’in Social Services Initiative will work under the guidance of our Chiefs and Communities to ensure the delivery of the Ontario Works legislation enhances the Anishinaabeg lifestyle, and creates an environment for all persons within our communities to increase the quality of life, by providing culturally appropriate services and programs, that respects the cultural, social, economic and political aspiration of each individual and community.
