What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

COVID-19 has similar symptoms to other respiratory illnesses including:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Difficulty breathing

Symptoms are commonly mild to moderate.

How is COVID-19 Spread?

The virus is spread by droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.

What can I do to protect myself and my family?

There are regular everyday habits that help in protecting you from respiratory illnesses like the flu and COVID-19:

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water or use alcohol-based sanitizer
  • Cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or use a tissue and discard it after use.
  • Stay home if you’re sick
