Program Description – The pre-arrest Diversion Program was developed to reduce the probability of contact with the legal system for those living with mental illness and/or addiction.  Service delivery is based on the case management model with an emphasis on illness stabilization, life skills, building social and family supports systems, education and advocacy and restorative justice. This service also incorporates Traditional Anishinaabe healing services at the request of the client.  This program provides services to 12 First Nations communities in the Treaty Three territory.
